The first product is a pair of wireless headphones that act like a necklace when not in use. The idea is that the headphones becomes part of your usual attire and are light and comfortable to wear, because they are made out of aluminium and the wire is covered with a cable for anti break. The headphones are held together with a magnet system when wearing them like a necklace, and then easily pulled apart when the user whats to wear them.

NikeFlipper

While the NIKE Flipper functions well as a running shoe, it also enhances our swimming capabilities. The flipper would be placed on the sole of the shoe, and will be able to extend out with a pivot point type mechanism. The mechanism will be extendable when needed, and able to fold underneath the shoe when not needed. The flipper would be made from strong light weight rubber plastic, so it would not weigh down the shoe when it is being worn on land.

A cycling jacket that responds to the levels of pollution around the city. The cycling jacket Leds turn from white to red, warning the cyclists that they have been exposed to high levels of pollution for a long period of time. The primary research for this project consisted of hybrid machines that monitor one bio factor to produce another manmade element. I focused on bio sensors which are the result of biology and machine coming together. I then added the third element of developing something visual out of something which can not normally be seen.

Pressing a button to activate the sun and the tree responds by opening its flowers to reveal the toys inside.
The third sensor is the touch pad where individuals can tap the pad to create rain (glitter from the ceiling will fall down) in response to this little shoots appear in the soil.

How it works
Each petal of the flower would be connected to two pieces of wood with a hinge and a spring. A piece of string would be attached to the wood so that when the sensor triggers the switch to turn on the motor it would pull on the string. Opening the flower. There would be springs attached in between the petals so that if the motor was to move the other way the flower would fall back into place.
